Friends and strangers, now joined together in the cause to help fund the search for Kara Kopetsky by keeping awareness in the public eye through scheduled and coordinated events and fund raisers. A temporary additional $50,000 reward HAD been anonymously offered for the safe return of Kara by her 19th birthday on February 17, 2009. This has been coordinated by the Bank of Belton and Allen Edmonds at the Belton Star-Herald. He generously agreed to help our benefactor with strict rules to follow. Even though temporary, we hope it provides the kick that certain someone needs to help us find Kara and provide much needed closure. $80,000 for that tip that brings Kara home!
