The Find Kara Committee is a group of positive and caring people who provide assistance and support to Kara's family. Friends and strangers, now joined together in the cause to help fund the search for Kara Kopetsky by keeping awareness in the public eye through scheduled and coordinated events and fund raisers. This group operates without the 501-C3 that is needed for Corporations to make large donations with a tax deduction. This means our funds for Kara have been donated by our local citizens & businesses as well as significant donations from people across the country as a result of national exposure. We have managed to raised the posted reward and, thanks to those anonymous donators, our community, friends & co-workers, have accumulated enough to maintain a consistent flow of materials at our events which include shirts, bracelets, flyers, magnets, buttons, signs and ads in newspapers regarding Kara and the events we sponsor to raise additional funds. Some of our area businesses donate a lot, and some donate a little. Either way it's all for bringing awareness to the search for Kara. We as a committee will continue to do what we can to bring awareness in the public for Kara in hopes it produces information leading to Find Kara Kopetsky.
